Due to the natural label of this product, no solubilizers, thickeners, or preservatives were added. Each fragrance will have a different effect on the soap base. Naturally occurring pigments, such as carotenes found in orange essential oil, can change the consistency and clarity. Slight layering or separation can also occur from vanilin present in some scents, and some can cause a thin consistency. This does not alter the effectiveness of the soap.
